New Nations Baptist Church Celebrates the Abimbola and Adigun Weddings in Thanksgiving

It was a joyful and memorable celebration at New Nations Baptist Church on Saturday, August 8, 2026, as family, friends, pastors, and members of the church gathered in thanksgiving to celebrate two beautiful marriages connected to the church family.

The much-anticipated wedding thanksgiving was held in honour of the family of our under-shepherd, Rev. & Mrs. S. O. Abimbola, following the wedding of their son, Inioluwa Abimbola, and his wife, Ifoma Nwagbo, which took place in Liverpool on June 13, 2026.

The thanksgiving provided a special opportunity for members of the Abimbola family, friends, pastors from the association, and members of New Nations Baptist Church who were unable to travel to Liverpool for the wedding to join in celebrating the newlyweds and giving thanks to God for His faithfulness.

The celebration also featured thanksgiving for the marriage of Fiyinfoluwa and Iyanuoluwa Adigun whose wedding took place in Ibadan on May 2, 2026. The combined celebration gave members and loved ones who could not attend the Ibadan ceremony an opportunity to share in the joy of the couple and celebrate God’s goodness in their lives.

The church auditorium was filled with an atmosphere of joy, gratitude, fellowship, and celebration as both families received prayers and blessings from the church. It was a beautiful demonstration of the importance of family and the joy that comes when the church comes together to celebrate significant milestones in the lives of its members.

Following the thanksgiving service, a beautiful reception was held on the first floor of the church building, where family members, friends, well-wishers, and members of the church reunited in an atmosphere of love and fellowship. Guests were treated to a sumptuous meal, music, laughter, and memorable moments as they celebrated the newly married couples.

The occasion was more than a wedding celebration; it was a testimony of God’s faithfulness and a reminder that marriage is a blessing worth celebrating with the community of faith.

As the couples begin this new chapter of their lives, New Nations Baptist Church celebrates with them and prays that God will establish their homes in love, peace, understanding, friendship, and unwavering faith.

May their marriages be filled with joy, fruitful years, divine favour, and enduring companionship. May their homes become testimonies of God’s grace and shining examples of Christ-centred marriages.

Congratulations to Inioluwa & Ifoma, and Fiyinfoluwa & Iyanuo;uwa!

New Nations Baptist Church celebrates with you and wishes you both a blissful and fulfilling married life.
