Teaching on Deacons Selection

This Sunday, we were honored to welcome Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Ojo, Senior Pastor of Christ The Rock Baptist Church, Maryland, as our Special Guest Minister.

Rev. Dr. Ojo delivered a profound teaching on the Biblical Basis for Deacons, drawing from 2 Chronicles 16:6, Exodus 18:14–26, and Acts 6:1.

📖 In his message, he emphasized:

• The rationale behind the selection of deacons

• The criteria for choosing deacons

• The desired qualities for prospective deacons

• The essential qualities that guide the church in this process

He concluded by encouraging the church to ensure that the selection process reflects a healthy partnership between leaders and congregation.

🙏 Rev. Dr. Ojo prayed that God would guide His church with wisdom and grace in this sacred responsibility.
